Work Out Day-Cardio/Legs

Work Out:
35 minutes elliptical; level 3; average speed: 74; machine tally calories burned: 495
11 minutes treadmill; walk start 3 mph, jog speed 5.5 mph; machine tally calories burned: 104
Seated Leg Press: 2 x 20; 50lb
Standing Calf: 2 x 15; 40lb
Hip Abduction (inner): 20 reps @ 40lb, 80 reps @ 50lb
Hip Abduction (outer): 100 reps @ 30lb
Prone Leg Curl: 2 x 20 30lb
Seated Leg Curl: 2 x 20 35lb
Leg Extension: 2 x 20 20lb
50 Hanging Stomach Crunches
Diet:
Breakfast: 1 light Yoplait Yogurt
Water: 3 .5L bottles of water (at gym)
Lunch: 98% Fat Free Ham, 98% Fat Free Turkey, swiss cheese sandwich on 100% whole wheat bread, mustard, lettuce, tomatoes and red onions. One pickle spear
Water: 1 11oz. glass
Dinner: 1/3 piece of cube steak with 2 T. canned beef gravy, 2 T. white rice. 1.5 handfuls of bagged salad w/tomatoes, red onions and cucumbers w/3 T. Raspberry Walnut vinaigrette salad dressing
Water: 2 11oz. glasses
Dessert: 3 peanut butter M&M's
Biggest Hurdle: Not snacking on left overs when cleaning dishes; successfully avoided
Funniest observation at gym today: Cut and ripped guy drinking a pink smoothie in the free weight area
What hurts: Oh, my aching rib cage. EGADS.

    Great start- you can do it. I need to get back to the gym. My routine just includes yoga right now...I have no where to dump my kids while I workout. hehe
