Work Out Day-Cardio/Arms/Chest/Back
For the record, working out on 5 hours of sleep and 2 consecutive days of bumping up your workouts is not recommended. I was seriously lagging today, so much so, that my workout extended past 1.5 hours but not for the *right* reasons...it's because I was SO SLOW. LOL I did however, manage to do alright considering the circumstances.
Work Out:
35 minutes Elliptical; level 3; avg. rpm 69; total machine tally calories burned: 406
17:45 minutes treadmill; avg mph 3.5; total machine tally calories burned: 100
pectoral Fly: 2 x 20; 30 lb
Dual Axis Chest Press: 2 x 20; 30 lb
Back Extension: 3 x 20; 50 lb
Row/Rear Delt: 2 x 20; 30 lb
Vertical Press: 2 x 20; 45 lb
Arm Extension (triceps): 20 @ 35 lb; 20 @ 30 lb (yes it got too tough for me)
Arm Curl (bicep): 2 x 20; 20 lb (this is the hardest exercise for me by far; I struggle at 20)
Tricep Press: 2 x 20; 60 lb
50 hanging stomach crunches
Diet:
Breakfast: 1 low-fat yogurt
Water: 3 .5 liter bottles, 1 11 oz glass
Lunch: 98% Fat Free Ham, 98% Fat Free Turkey, swiss cheese sandwich on 100% whole wheat bread, mustard, lettuce, tomatoes and red onions. One pickle spear. 3/4 medium sized orange.
Water: 2 11oz glasses
Dinner: 1 thin small chicken breast, grilled w/low-fat marinade. 3 T. chicken flavored rice. 4 glazed baby carrots. 1 handful of salad w/tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions and 2 T. fat free ranch dressing.
Water: 2 11 oz glasses
I'M STARVING.
Oddest thing at the gym today: hairy dude wearing scrubs to work out in. Ok dude, we get it, you're a doctor/dentist/surgeon/vet...who freaking cares...you look ridiculous
Funniest thing at the gym today: watching some guy do ballet all over the racquetball court trying to get the ball. I have never seen such grace. LOL
Grossest thing at the gym today: Me and my sweaty ass. I seriously got hit with the ugly stick extra hard today. I was even worse than the old lady I witnessed pulling down her underwear in the locker room.
Biggest challenge today: not giving up on my cardio when I was so exhausted; minor victory-I didn't give up, but I walked the treadmill instead of jogged.
What hurts: still my rib cage, but it's getting much better
What the scale said today: 175.8 pounds (I'm sure it's all water weight)
