Work Out Day-Cardio/Arms/Chest/Back
I woke up with my neck out of shape and in a lot of pain, not to mention, I'm still sore from my arm work out on Wednesday (and other womanly aches, if you catch my drift) but I forged ahead and hit the gym. It was tempting to skip it since my daughter had another coughing fit this morning and actually asked to not go to the gym because she was "too sick"...but once I suggested actually NOT going, she freaked out because she wanted to see her favorite care provider there. So if anything, that was my motivation today. My work out went well, I was a tad frustrated with everything this morning for some unknown reason, not to mention, it wasn't easy getting around not being able to turn my head completely to the left.
Work Out:
35 minutes Elliptical; level 3; avg. rpm 72; total machine tally calories burned: 425
10 minutes bicycle; level 14; total machine tally calories burned: 100
Pectoral Fly: 2 x 20; 40 lb
Back Extension: 3 x 20; 60 lb
Row/Rear Delt: 2 x 20; 35 lb
Vertical Press: 2 x 20; 45 lb
Arm Extension (triceps): 2 x 20 @ 40 lb
Arm Curl (bicep): 2 x 20; 30 lb
Tricep Press: 2 x 20; 70 lb
Torso twist machine : 2 x 20 (x2-each side) @ 55 lb
55 hanging stomach crunches
Diet:
Breakfast: 1 low-fat yoplait yogurt
Water: 4 .5 L bottles (at gym)
Lunch: leftover burrito size chicken enchilada with 2 pinches of cheese on top, 1 scoop of spanish rice and 8 small plain doritos
Water: 1 11oz glass
Dinner: 3 scoops of baked beans w/hot dog slices, 12 mini tater tots
Water: 2 11oz glasses
Dessert: 6 peanut butter M&M's
Weirdest thing at the gym today: Some bald water fountain drinking guy that kept running the water while staring at himself in the mirror. He would take a sip, stare, take a sip, stare....I thought it was just a fluke, until he came back and did it again. Weirdo.
